Privacy Policy
How Meti App uses information to provide planning, activity tracking and rewards.
Last updated: 15 September 2026
1. Who is responsible for your information
Meti App and metiapp.com are operated by Meti Georgia, LLC, Vazisubani settlement, 18a, Tbilisi, Georgia. This policy covers the mobile app and website, including accounts, planning, fitness, personal finance and rewards features. For privacy questions or requests, email support@metiapp.com.
2. Information you provide
Account information includes your email address, account identifier, sign-in information and profile details you choose to provide. If you use a third-party sign-in option, we receive the information that provider makes available for your account, such as an identifier, name or email address.
Meti stores content you enter, including tasks, habits, goals, notes, reading records, time records, and personal finance entries. Personal finance features record information you enter; they do not connect to your bank or process card payments in the current app.
Fitness information may include profile measurements you provide, recorded activities, step counts, distance, duration and other activity results. Rewards records include points earned or spent and merchant offer redemptions. If you contact support, we receive the information you include in your request.
3. Location, motion, camera and notifications
With your permission, Meti processes precise location and motion information to track walks, runs and bicycle rides, calculate distance, and check activity eligibility for rewards. During an activity you start, location processing can continue in the background, including while your screen is locked or you are using another app. Android displays an ongoing workout notification. You can stop the workout or change permissions in device settings.
Meti uses the camera to scan a partner's QR code when you redeem an offer. This feature does not require microphone access. Notification permissions and device push tokens support reminders and activity-related messages where configured. Optional notification choices can be changed in the app or device settings.
Some tracking and session information is stored on your device so interrupted activities or sessions can resume. Removing a permission may prevent the related feature from working. Uninstalling the app does not by itself delete your online account.
4. Why we use information
We use information to create and secure your account; save and display your content; track activities; calculate and protect rewards; fulfill redemptions; deliver requested reminders; answer support requests; investigate errors and abuse; and handle account deletion.
Where applicable, we process information to provide the service you request, meet legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests such as securing the service and preventing fraud, subject to your rights. Where consent is required, we request it and you may withdraw it. Withdrawing a device permission stops future access through that permission but does not automatically delete previously stored information.
5. Service providers and sharing
Meti uses Supabase for account authentication, database services and backend functions. Expo and the device platform's notification services support push delivery where enabled. If you choose Apple or Google sign-in, the selected provider processes that sign-in under its own privacy terms.
Participating merchants receive information needed to validate and fulfill a redemption. Content deliberately shared through community features may be visible to other users. Do not place private information in content you share publicly.
Our website is hosted by Vercel. Email providers support account messages and deletion confirmation; the website deletion flow uses Resend. These providers may process information outside Georgia. Applicable safeguards and provider agreements govern that processing. Contact us with questions about service providers and international processing.
6. Retention and account deletion
We keep account content while needed to provide your account and the purposes described in this policy. You can request account deletion in the app or through our Account Deletion page without reinstalling the app.
The account-deletion flow includes a seven-day cancellation period after confirmation. During that period, sign in and choose Restore to cancel. After the cancellation period, deletion removes your account and associated personal records. Unused points are lost and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
Some merchant transaction records are anonymized and retained for reconciliation. Limited records may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations or resolving disputes, only while needed for those purposes. Backup copies expire under the hosting provider’s retention schedule rather than being removed immediately when an active record is deleted. Contact support@metiapp.com for information about retention affecting your request.
7. Your choices and requests
You can edit information supported by the app, change permissions in your device settings, manage available notification preferences, and request account deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to request access, correction, a copy of your information, restriction, or objection to certain processing, and to complain to the relevant supervisory authority. Contact support@metiapp.com to exercise these rights; we may need to verify that the account belongs to you.
8. Security, children and changes
We use account authentication and access controls to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Never send your password, verification code or payment-card details to support.
If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact support@metiapp.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We will update this policy when our practices change and identify the revision date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
